# Dual Sim - Supported Devices

**Is my device compatible with Dual SIM (eSIM)?**

Dual SIM uses eSIM technology, which is built into most modern smartphones — but not all devices support it.

Here's how to check if yours does:

#### iPhone

Your device needs to be **iPhone XR or newer** (XR, XS, XS Max, 11, 12, 13, 14, or 15) running **iOS 16 or later**.

To confirm eSIM is available:

1. Go to **Settings > Cellular**  
2. Tap **Add eSIM**

If you don't see that option, check for a carrier settings update under **Settings > General > About**.

#### A few other things to check

- **Is your phone unlocked?** Carrier-locked phones won't accept a new eSIM profile.
- **Was it purchased in mainland China?** Some regional variants don't include eSIM hardware, even if the model otherwise supports it.
- **Did you just update your OS?** Try restarting your phone before attempting to add an eSIM.
