# Enabling Notifications & Badges on your Device

If you’re not receiving notifications from Burner, you may need to allow them on your _**device**_ itself.

### **When You First Sign In**

When opening Burner for the first time, make sure to tap **“Allow”** when prompted to enable notifications. This is the quickest way to ensure everything works properly.

### **For iPhone (iOS)**

To enable badge notifications:

1. Open **Settings**  
2. Scroll down and tap **Burner**  
3. Tap **Notifications**  
4. Turn on **Allow Notifications**  
5. Make sure **Badges** are enabled

Notification badges are the red number indicators on the app icon showing unread activity.

### **For Android**

To enable notification badges:

1. Open **Settings**  
2. Tap **Notifications**  
3. Go to **Advanced Settings**  
4. Tap **App icon badges**  
5. Turn them on and ensure Burner is enabled

_Note: Menu names may vary slightly depending on your device._

Android devices typically allow badge settings through notification menus or app settings depending on the manufacturer.

### **Still Not Seeing Notifications?**
