Sending a Text Message (SMS and MMS)

Sending An Outbound Text

Text and picture messaging (SMS and MMS) work similar to how they do on a smartphone. We do not currently support video or other file types with the Standard or Verified Number plans. With a Premium Subscription (iOS only), you can send video messages.

iOS users:

1. Tap the Message icon at the top right of the screen.
2. Choose which Burner you want to send your text from (only applicable if you have multiple numbers).
3. Manually type in a number or choose a contact using the + sign.
4. Type your message and tap the arrow/send icon.

Android User:

1. Tap the + icon at the bottom right of the screen.
2. Tap New Chat.
3. Choose which Burner you want to send your text from (only applicable if you have multiple numbers).
4. Choose a recipient by typing their number or choosing a contact.
5. Type your message and tap the arrow/send icon.
