# Blocking Contacts

**iOS Users:**

In order to block a number, there are 3 ways you can do this:

1. Tap the red **Block** icon in the message thread with that contact. You just need to scroll to the top of the message history.
2. Tap the number or name of the person who called/texted and choose Block.
3. Go to Contacts, look for the recipient, click on them and tap Block.

**Android Users:**

1. Press and hold on a contact thread and select **Delete and Block**.
2. Tap the contact and toggle the **Block contact** to the right.

If you decide to unblock your contact, you can tap the **Unblock** button using the same steps above.
