Inbound Calls - Anonymous or Spam Calls

Why is a restricted, anonymous or spam number calling me?

Although unlikely, sometimes a number slips past our system and it's possible someone else owned the number before you. If you're receiving unwanted calls that you don't know, you can always block them.

iOS Users:

• To block a number, you can select the Block icon at the very top of the message thread or tap the number of the person who called and tap Block.

Android Users:

• Press and hold on a contact thread and select Delete and Block. Or tap the contact and toggle the Block contact to the right.

If you are receiving way too many spam calls, we'll replace the number for you. Just message in-app using the Help button or using the chat icon at the bottom right of this page, along with your account number or email and the affected Burner number.
